PYD strongly believes in creating an environmentally responsible citizen and community that possess basic understanding of the environment and its problems, skills and motivations to solve and eventually participate in environmental improvement programs. There will be 100 people moving around Checheche growth point carrying out a clean up campaign.
The clean up campaign will bring together church leadership, traditional leaders, the local business community, the office of the District Administrator and officials from the Chipinge Rural District Council. The participants are brought together to help build an understanding around the unique risks and vulnerabilities currently facing the district.
